How can you check your refund status?

You can use the IRS Where’s My Refund tool to check on the status of your refund. You can check your status as soon as 24 hours after filing your return. The following information is required:

·Your Social Security or taxpayer ID number​

·Your filing status

·The exact refund amount on your return
